We're Sam and Vanessa,
and Rokka Play is our story
Although work brought us together, we quickly became friends; we had loads in common, including young children. We'd noticed our children naturally beginning to make dens, cubbyholes and bridges out of whatever they could find, and we'd seen how happy they were when they played like this.
But it was hard - actually, it was impossible - to find a large wooden toy which would change and grow in step with a child's development. Fortunately, Sam's partner Nick set about making the kind of toy we couldn't find, inspired by an heirloom rocking chair. And so the Rokka was born.
Parents, teachers, retailers, educational experts: one by one they saw the Rokka, one by one they said how much they liked it...
